Silverburn Security Officer

Silverburn Shopping Centre is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Glasgow. This position will be responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the premises
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Investigate people’s belongings or possessions that are being stolen or damaged
• Report in-person security needs to the supervisor
• Assist staff in keeping premises clean and safe
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• SIA License or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a security officer or employee preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and nights. Must be able to work from early morning until late evening.
• Must have the ability to operate various forms of technology, including but not limited to a computer, scanner, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.15 per hour
