Take a look at what’s on at Silverburn to make your Christmas shiny and bright.
What’s on in November?
Christmas is in full swing already here at Silverburn, with free fun for the kids and entertainment to bring a bit of Christmas spirit to one and all.
Free face painting & balloon modelling
Our guests enjoyed the face painting and balloon modelling at our 15th birthday party so much that we’ve decided to bring them back – every weekend!
Every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm we’ll have some free fun to put a smile on all our faces.
Balloon modelling dates: 3rd December, 4th December, 10th December, 17th December, 18th December
Face painting dates: 26th November, 11th December, 24th December
What’s on in December?
We’ve got lots planned this December to entertain you and the family while you get ready for Christmas.
Santa meet and greet
Want to capture that iconic first photo with Santa? Make them smile with our Santa meet and greet, every day throughout December from 12pm to 6pm. No need to book a slot!
Santa will be visiting Silverburn from 1st December, all the way until 24th December – then he’s off to the North Pole for his busiest night of the year!
We’ll be collecting donations for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity to help seriously ill children and their families this Christmas. Our suggested donation to meet Santa is £3, with cash and card payments accepted.
Santa will host a quiet hour every Sunday from 12pm to 1pm for any guests with autism or disabilities that lead to sensory issues. There’s no need to book in advance – just ask one of his elves or speak to a member of staff at the Guest Services desk for more details.
We’re aiming to dazzle this year with roaming performers to catch your eye and keep you entertained while you shop.
Sat 3rd and Sun 4th: We’ll have rambunctious reindeer roaming the mall on stilts.
Sat 10th and Sun 11th: The spectacular Snow Queen will be dropping in for a visit.
Sat 17th and Sun 18th: Jack Frost and the frolicking Snow Fairies will be whizzing around the mall.
Charity gift wrapping
Struggling to fit everything in? Let us do the Christmas wrapping for you! Our charity gift wrapping station is back this year, in collaboration with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Christmas giving tree
If you’re looking to give back to the community this Christmas, the Giving Tree will be in place from 1st to 24th December. Pick a tag from the tree and buy a gift for a child who could use a special treat this Christmas, thanks to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
We’ve got free entertainment planned to make this Christmas shiny and bright for our guests. Choirs and brass bands from local schools and some of our wonderful charity partners will be visiting to bring us all a bit of Christmas cheer.
